BUGS & PATIENCE...

The 17-year Cicadias have taken over the Bradford Pear tree in our front yard. Imagine....these little guys have waited SEVENTEEN YEARS to arrive!! Maybe it is a lesson in PATIENCE!! Who knows???? We have the same bugs. Our neighbors have four Bradford Pears on our fence line. They are soooo loud. I am counting the days until they leave!

I can't believe that lady wait 29 months. That is such a long time. I know that we have to be patient and it will all happen in God's timing. I am just worried about VN closing. I just pray that we can bring our girls home as soon as possible.

I have been searching for the right material for Maddie's quilt. I know what I want, but I can't find it yet. Talk to you soon. Carra

PLease email me at amyschristopher@comcast.net regarding special needs. We did not switch. You are not a part of the waiting child program until you accept a referral. So we just sent in a MCC (medical conditions checklist). If a child comes up with the needs that you checked off, you may get her referral. All you do is fill it out and have your SW sign and then keep waiting just like you have been doing!!

We don't have any cicadias this year. Usually we do, but not a one so far this year.

Christy and Brian-
